Sarah Bressel
Sarah cares deeply about people and the complexity of their lived experiences, bringing a warm, grounded presence to her work with clients. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Counselling from Tyndale University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Trent University.
Sarah walks alongside individuals navigating relationship challenges, grief, burnout, anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, life transitions, and trauma-related concerns. She aims to create a therapeutic space that is safe, steady, and collaborative, where clients feel seen, heard, and supported.
Her approach is relational and client-centred, drawing from Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Family Systems perspectives, along with trauma-focused training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). She works from an insight-oriented lens, with an awareness of the nervous system. Sarah is especially passionate about supporting women in their healing and growth while welcoming individuals from all walks of life.
Outside of the therapy room, Sarah enjoys spending time outdoors, running, exploring new cafés, and connecting with family and friends.
